This paper examines living matter as a distinct class of dynamic structures arising from the interaction of fundamental physical fields. Based on the observable goal-directedness of living systems, a logical argument is developed in favor of the existence of a fundamental field of mind/consciousness, provisionally referred to as the Eternal Mind of the Universe. The study analyzes the differences between living and non-living matter, demonstrates the limits of human cognition in apprehending fundamental fields, and highlights the practical significance of a formal “life formula” for the search for life beyond Earth. A brief reference is made to existing attempts to formalize the field of consciousness in contemporary research. The work aims to integrate the logic of physics, biology, and the philosophy of mind into a unified, scientifically grounded conceptual framework.
