Pan-Africanism has gained renewed attention in African studies as a potential unifying force for unity and development across the continent. This study employs mixed methods including qualitative interviews, focus group discussions, and quantitative surveys to gather comprehensive data on Pan-African sentiments and their practical implications in Gabonese society. Findings indicate a significant proportion (45%) of respondents support Pan-Africanism for fostering unity and development, with notable variations across urban versus rural areas. Despite challenges such as language barriers and socio-economic disparities, the study highlights opportunities for promoting Pan-African solidarity through targeted community engagement initiatives. Policy recommendations should include enhanced cross-cultural dialogue programmes and inclusive economic policies to support Pan-African aspirations in Gabon.
