Theoretical frameworks in sub-Saharan Africa often overlook gender dynamics within business contexts. This study aims to address this gap by examining gender dimensions of business in Tanzania. This study employs a systematic literature review and qualitative analysis to synthesize existing data and theories related to gender in business contexts in Tanzania. The theoretical framework developed highlights the importance of addressing gender-specific barriers to entrepreneurship in Tanzania's business landscape. Recommendations include the development of inclusive business models and policies that promote equal opportunities for women entrepreneurs, with a focus on financial inclusion and networking support.
