Scientific Technical and Economic Committee for Fisheries (STECF) - Evaluation of the Annual Reports for data collection and data transmission issues from 2023 (STECF-24-08)

Commission Decision of 25 February 2016 setting up a Scientific, Technical and Economic Committee for Fisheries, C(2016) 1084, OJ C 74, 26.2.2016, p. 4–10. The Commission may consult the group on any matter relating to marine and fisheries biology, fishing gear technology, fisheries economics, fisheries governance, ecosystem effects of fisheries, aquaculture, or similar disciplines. This report presents the STECF findings based on the Report of the Expert Working Group (EWG 24-08) which was held in virtually 24-28 June 2024, to evaluate MS Annual Reports on data collection for 2023 and the Member States’ data transmission to the end users during 2023. The report of the EWG was reviewed by the STECF during its 76th plenary meeting held in Brussels from 8-12 July 2024.
