Youth unemployment in Lagos, Nigeria is a significant social issue with implications for economic development and social stability. A comparative study using quantitative data from participant surveys, interviews with programme managers, and secondary sources to assess the impact of industry collaborations. Industry partnerships significantly increased access to job opportunities for participants, with a 40% higher employment rate compared to non-partnership programmes (n=200). Industry partnerships played a crucial role in enhancing skill development and employability among young Nigerians. Expand industry collaborations to include more sectors and regions for broader impact on youth unemployment rates.
