Research methodology for technical and technological modernization of agro-industrial production

The article presents the developed methodology for studying the technical and technological modernization of agro-industrial production, including the characterization of structural elements, the theoretical and applied level of research. The theoretical level of research determines the main categories of modernization, its types, types and principles. Modernization is considered by the author as a continuous and endless process of updating the technical and technological base of the agro-industrial complex, bringing it in line with new requirements and norms, technical specifications, quality indicators. The application layer includes tools - methods, performance indicators of modernization, systems for analysis and research methods.
