Ghana's health systems have faced significant challenges in responding to epidemics, necessitating a deeper understanding of their resilience. A mixed-methods approach involving quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews was employed to gather data from healthcare professionals and policymakers in Ghana. The analysis revealed that while there were notable improvements in telemedicine access post-pandemic, the overall preparedness level of health facilities for future epidemics remains suboptimal. Despite some successes, significant areas requiring improvement in health system resilience are identified, particularly in resource allocation and technological integration. Enhanced training programmes and improved coordination between healthcare sectors are recommended to bolster Ghana's epidemic response capabilities.
