The Political Economy Nexus in Central Africa examines the complex interplay between political structures, economic policies, and resource extraction in Ethiopia's central regions. Theoretical analysis will be employed to explore existing literature on political economy and extractive industries in Africa, focusing on Central African case studies. This theoretical framework underscores the need for more equitable governance models and improved transparency in resource extraction policies to mitigate potential conflicts and promote sustainable development. Recommendations include strengthening accountability mechanisms, implementing community-based participatory decision-making processes, and advocating for fairer revenue-sharing agreements between governments and local populations.
