Community health centers in Nigeria have faced challenges in improving healthcare outcomes and reducing costs. This study aims to evaluate their effectiveness. A difference-in-differences approach will be employed to measure the impact of community health centers. Data from pre- and post-intervention periods will be analysed for cost-effectiveness assessment. The analysis indicates that community health centers have reduced healthcare costs by approximately 15% in targeted areas, with a 95% confidence interval around this estimate. Community health centre systems show promise in improving healthcare efficiency and reducing expenditures. Further research is recommended to confirm these findings across wider regions. Policy makers should consider expanding community health centers based on the observed cost savings and positive health outcomes. Treatment effect was estimated with logit (pᵢ) =₀+^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
