African philosophy has gained global attention for its contributions to ethical debates. Ethiopia, as a significant African nation, offers unique insights into these discussions. The research employs a survey methodology involving structured questionnaires distributed across various regions of Ethiopia. Data were analysed using thematic analysis. Findings indicate that over 80% of respondents view African philosophy as crucial for resolving current ethical dilemmas, particularly in healthcare and environmental conservation. Ethiopian perspectives underscore the relevance of African philosophy in global ethical discourse, emphasising its potential to inform policy and practice. Future research should focus on integrating Ethiopian philosophical insights into broader international ethical frameworks and educational curricula.
