Check for Outliers

In 2026, the Methodology Corner column will focus on the management of outliers in a valid science of nursing education. Outliers are capable of introducing errors into studies that ignore or mismanage them. This column entry specifically encourages applied researchers to ensure they check each of their studies for outliers and to report their outlier methodology and results well in their research works.
