Sahelian pastoralist systems are vulnerable to climate change impacts such as droughts and floods, necessitating adaptive strategies. A mixed-method approach combining qualitative interviews (n=30) with remote sensing data to analyse land use patterns over 10 years. Remote sensing revealed significant changes in vegetation cover, indicating shifts in pasture availability and water resources. The methodological framework provides a robust tool for monitoring climate-induced landscape transformations in pastoralist areas. Implementing the framework could facilitate more targeted interventions to support resilience-building in Sahelian regions.
