The study aims to explore the evolving landscape of sustainable finance within the context of climate challenges through a comprehensive bibliometric analysis. By systematically mapping the academic discourse, the research seeks to identify key themes, influential works, and leading contributors in the field. Utilising bibliometric methods such as citation analysis, co-citation networks, and keyword clustering, the study quantitatively reviews literature spanning from 2007 to 2025 (May), comprising 176 sources and 231 documents. The findings reveal a robust annual growth rate in the field, signifying a growing scholarly interest. The research underscores the crucial role of sustainable finance in navigating the complexities of climate change mitigation and adaptation. It highlights a dynamic and interdisciplinary knowledge landscape marked by significant collaborative efforts and a global perspective. Despite its progress, the study identifies a critical gap in empirical research on the tangible environmental impacts of sustainable finance initiatives, suggesting directions for future research. This investigation provides valuable insights into sustainable finance development, current state, and future trajectories, offering strategic guidance for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners in addressing climate challenges.
