South Sudan has experienced prolonged conflict since its independence in , leading to significant displacement and disruption of education systems. A mixed-methods approach combining qualitative interviews with quantitative data from the Ministry of Education's enrollment records. Displacement rates exceeded 50% among school-age children, affecting both primary and secondary levels disproportionately. Conflict has severely constrained educational access by disrupting schooling continuity, increasing dropout rates, and exacerbating gender disparities. Implement targeted support programmes for displaced students, integrate education into peacebuilding efforts, and enhance data collection methods to monitor educational recovery.
