In an ever-changing and highly dynamic labour market, where technological advancements and globalization are major drivers, the concept of internships has become an essential tool to bridge the gap between academic and industry requirements. This research aims to explore the impact of internship experiences on employability skills, career preparedness, and professional self-assurance of the new generation of the workforce. To carry out this research, primary research has been conducted by administering a structured questionnaire to 120 respondents, and statistical analysis has been performed using ANOVA and Chi-square tests. The research findings show that the impact of internship experiences on employability skills and career preparedness of the new generation of the workforce is highly influenced by the age of the respondents, with a moderate linear impact of educational level and association of socio-economic background with internship experiences.
