Post-conflict African states face significant challenges in establishing stable legal frameworks that can effectively address societal needs and promote sustainable development. The study employs a multidisciplinary approach integrating insights from jurisprudence, political science, and sociology to analyse existing legal systems and propose theoretical solutions. The theoretical framework elucidates critical challenges and opportunities for law in post-conflict African societies, emphasising the importance of context-specific solutions that balance past injustices with future-oriented development goals. Recommendations include the adoption of a hybrid model combining traditional legal systems with community-driven initiatives to enhance accountability and legitimacy.
