Manufacturing systems in Senegalese agricultural enterprises are crucial for optimising productivity and sustainability. A quasi-experimental design will be employed to measure the impact of different manufacturing system configurations on agricultural productivity and sustainability. This design will control for confounding variables while allowing for observational comparisons across enterprises. A preliminary analysis suggests that certain manufacturing systems in Senegalese farms show a 15% increase in crop yields compared to traditional methods, with no significant differences observed in terms of resource use efficiency. The quasi-experimental design provides robust insights into the effectiveness of different manufacturing systems for agricultural productivity and sustainability in Senegal. Further research should focus on scaling up these findings to larger farms and exploring the long-term impacts of implemented manufacturing systems.
