The press release announces the launch of the visual identity and website of the Horizon Europe project SUN-DT (“Smart Use of Novel Digital Tools for advanced performance and reduced costs in CSP tower plants”). The project, coordinated by CENER, aims to boost the competitiveness of the European CSP tower plants sector through digital innovation by integrating four interoperable innovative digital tools: HELIOSTATACC, SUN-DTWIN, D-OPT, and PREDOM. These tools will be integrated into a unified SUN-DT Platform, which will be tested and validated at two experimental facilities (IMDEA Energy's Very High Concentration Solar Tower in Spain and DLR's Solar Towers Jülich in Germany) and two commercial plants (Khi Solar One plant in South Africa and the Cerro Dominador plant in Chile), representing different CSP tower configurations.
