Land Use Land Cover (LULC) and climate change are the crucial conditioning factors contributing to landslides.These factors are indeed the most dynamic and can significantly impact the occurrence and frequency of landslides.It is essential to acknowledge that these factors have received substantial scholarly attention in recent decades, indicating the growing recognition of the significance of investigating their impact on landslides.Hence, this study aims to review the intellectual structures pertaining to landslides, including the impact of LULC and climate change, using bibliometric tools for understanding the state-of-the-art in this field.The study facilitates the assessment of knowledge, global scientific production, future trends, and research gaps within the domain.The research technique encompasses four main stages of the data analysis process, including data extraction, cleaning, analysis, visualization, and interpretation of data.Using the SCOPUS database, a total of 1038 articles were analysed spanning from 1970 to July, 2023.The findings indicate that "climate change", "landslides", and "land use changes" are the most frequently used keywords, highlighting the growing relevance of these factors in landslides studies while also identifying emerging themes over time.Finally, the study offers insights into the critical nexus of LULC, CC and the susceptibility to landslides.In light of the changing global environments, it establishes a foundation for future research and provides valuable information for policymakers to consider in their efforts to reduce the likelihood of landslides.
