ABSTRACT: South Korea has changed a lot in the past fifty years. It has become a strong country with a good economy. After the Korean War, the country was in disarray, but it is now a world leader in technology and manufacturing. Cities like Seoul are modern. It has good universities, banks, and big companies. Despite this growth, South Korea also faces significant challenges. Despite all the wealth and amenities, many people remain poor, and some areas are still struggling. There are also issues related to how the country is divided. Who controls certain regions? This shows that just because a country has a lot of money, it doesn't mean that everyone is happy or equal. This article looks at three issues in South Korea. 1. The big difference between poor people in Seoul, like in Guryong Village and Gangnam District. 2. What happens when someone dies on an island that South Korea and another country are fighting over, like the island of Dokdo? 3. The fact that some areas like Gyeongsangnam-do do not have workers for their factories. These issues highlight the challenges South Korea faces and how they will impact the country's future. Urban inequality, territorial symbolism, and labor shortages in South Korea are all problems that must be addressed. South Korea needs to find solutions to these issues to ensure the well-being of everyone in the country.
