Current Status, Dilemmas, and Countermeasures of Legal Regulation on Stem Cell Therapy in China

Currently, due to their powerful multidirectional differentiation potential and self-renewal capability, stem cells have demonstrated unprecedented therapeutic potential and application prospects in the medical field, sparking a global wave of stem cell technology research, development, and industrialization. This paper will systematically analyze the current status of legal regulation and problems exposed in practice within China's stem cell therapy field. It will draw on foreign legal systems and advanced experiences and, ultimately, propose specific suggestions for improving China's legal regulation of stem cell therapy, thereby fostering its healthy and orderly development within a legal and compliant framework.
