The Republic of Congo, post-colonial era, has experienced significant socio-cultural changes influenced by African philosophy. An ethnographic study employing participant observation, interviews, and archival research methods. Themes emerged around the adaptation of traditional philosophies to modern societal issues, with a notable proportion (30%) focusing on environmental conservation efforts. African philosophy continues to play a vital role in shaping Congolese identity and addressing contemporary challenges. Further empirical research should focus on intergenerational transmission of these philosophies and their impact on youth perspectives.
