We propose a conceptual framework exploring the possible emergence of daughter universes insideblack holes. The model is based on the hypothesis that space-time possesses a finite maximum density, preventing the formation of physical singularities during gravitational collapse. When this critical density is reached, the internal geometry of the black hole may undergo adynamical transition leading to a cosmological bounce and the emergence of an expanding spacetime region.Possible connections with several approaches to quantum gravity are briefly discussed, as well asthe cosmological implications of such a mechanism.
