Abstract

This collection of materials, almost exclusively from from the Special Collections Library of the University of Michigan, is a CD-ROM of text and images, with an accompanying booklet.Thirty-one documents (manuscript or printed) are illustrated, in a total of 217 images.2. The technical requirements are: for Windows, a 386 processor with 4 Mb RAM, Windows 3.1 or higher, 256-colour display at 640 x 480 (I found this a nuisance), and a double-speed CD-ROM drive; for Macintosh, a 68020 processor with 4 Mb RAM, Mac/OS 7.0 or higher, 256-colour display at 640 x 480, and a double-speed CD-ROM drive.
