Trabeculectomy remains the gold standard primary filtration surgical procedure to lower the intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with glaucoma. In the conventional trabeculectomy surgery, the conjunctiva is sutured tightly to prevent postoperative bleb leakage. The bleb’s ability to function determines the success of the surgery and the maintenance of IOP. Many modifications have been reported so far in the trabeculectomy techniques. Herein, we describe a series of sutureless conjunctival bleb formation after combined cataract and glaucoma surgery.
