Community health workers (CHWs) play a crucial role in maternal health education in Northern Ghana. A meta-analysis was conducted to synthesize data from multiple studies focusing on CHWs' impact on maternal health outcomes. CHW interventions led to a statistically significant increase in knowledge about safe birthing techniques, with a proportion of at least 20% improvement observed across the studies. The analysis underscores the potential of CHWs as effective agents for promoting maternal health practices in Northern Ghana. Policy makers should prioritise training and support for CHWs to sustain their role in improving maternal care. Treatment effect was estimated with logit (pᵢ) =₀+^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
