Pan-Africanism has been a significant force in African politics, with Tanzania playing a pivotal role in its development and implementation. The research employs a comparative analysis of government documents, academic literature, and policy reports as primary sources. Secondary data is analysed using thematic content analysis. Tanzania's Pan-Africanist initiatives have faced significant resistance from local communities due to perceived cultural insensitivity and economic disparities. Despite these challenges, Tanzania demonstrates a willingness to engage with broader African integration through diplomatic channels and educational programmes. Future research should focus on enhancing community engagement and fostering mutual understanding between Pan-Africanist policies and local cultures.
