Pan-Africanism is a movement aimed at promoting unity among African nations. In contemporary Africa, this ideology faces various challenges and opportunities. The study employs a comparative analysis approach, drawing insights from existing literature and secondary data sources related to Chad's socio-political landscape over recent decades. Pan-Africanist movements in Chad have been characterized by strong support among younger generations but face significant opposition from traditional elites who prioritise local interests. While Pan-Africanism offers avenues for unity and development, it also encounters resistance due to entrenched power structures. Future interventions should focus on fostering inclusive dialogue across sectors. Chad's policymakers should encourage intergenerational dialogues that highlight shared African identities while addressing the specific needs of different social groups within Chad.
