The Sahelian region of Comoros is vulnerable to climate change, with pastoralist systems being particularly affected by erratic rainfall patterns and increasing temperatures. A mixed-methods approach was utilised, including semi-structured interviews with 50 pastoralist households and a thematic analysis of government reports and academic literature. Pastoralists have developed strategies such as diversifying livestock herds (72%) and enhancing water management techniques (64%). Despite these adaptations, there is still room for improvement in terms of policy support and climate information dissemination to pastoralist communities. Policy makers should prioritise the implementation of targeted interventions aimed at improving water resources and livestock feed availability, alongside strengthening community-based adaptation initiatives. The empirical specification follows Y=₀+^ X+, and inference is reported with uncertainty-aware statistical criteria.
