Afro-Linguistics is a field that studies African languages across the globe, with Egypt being an important site for comparative analysis due to its linguistic diversity and historical interactions. The study of African language structures in Egypt has implications for understanding broader patterns and variations within the Afro-Asiatic language family. The research methodology employed an ethnographic approach, involving fieldwork in various regions of Egypt to gather data through participant observation, interviews, and documentation of linguistic materials. Data analysis was conducted using qualitative methods to interpret the collected information from both structured and unstructured sources. This study identified a distinct feature where Egyptian Arabic incorporates elements from Semitic languages into its structure, creating a unique blend that differs significantly from other dialects within the Afro-Asiatic family. This finding contributes to understanding language diversity in Egypt and its broader implications for linguistic studies. The ethnographic data collected provides insights into how African languages are adapted to local contexts, highlighting the complex interplay between linguistic structure and social practices in Egyptian society. Future research should consider extending this study geographically to other parts of Egypt or neighboring countries with significant African language communities to further validate and generalize findings.
