Abstract Peer review helps ensure that manuscript decisions are grounded in carefully evaluated evidence rather than speculation or misinformation. At the same time, peer review must not only be rigorous but also fair, transparent, and constructive to maintain trust within both the scientific community and the broader public. Our peer‐review community has risen to that challenge, dedicating their time and expertise to upholding the highest standards, safeguarding the quality and integrity of the work we publish. The editorial team at JGR Biogeosciences would like to extend their gratitude to all the 2025 reviewers who have volunteered their expertise and effort to help assess, verify, and improve the manuscripts published in our journal.
