This paper presents a model of the dynamic equilibrium of the Earth's hydrosphere. The author substantiates that the systemic loss of free water mass, caused by its sequestration into high-pressure mantle minerals (wadsleyite and ringwoodite), is compensated by continuous exospheric synthesis. This process involves solar wind protons and finely dispersed silicon dioxide transported into the upper layers of the atmosphere.
