Cooperatives play a pivotal role in enhancing resilience among smallholder farmers in Rwanda's agricultural sector. The study employs mixed-methods research design, integrating quantitative surveys with qualitative interviews. Data collection was conducted through structured questionnaires and semi-structured interviews distributed among farmers in selected cooperatives across Rwanda's major agricultural zones. Findings indicate that cooperative participation is significantly associated with increased crop yields (mean increase of 20%) and improved access to market opportunities, with a notable trend towards higher levels of farmer engagement (75% actively participating). The methodological framework demonstrates the effectiveness in measuring cooperative dynamics' impact on farmer resilience. Expanding the use of this framework could inform policy interventions aimed at strengthening cooperatives and fostering greater agricultural productivity and market integration. cooperatives, resilience, mixed-methods research, farmer engagement, yield improvement The empirical specification follows Y=₀+^ X+, and inference is reported with uncertainty-aware statistical criteria.
