Abstract This paper presents the Theory of Universal System Balance, a comprehensive framework for modelling complex systems using tensor network mathematics. The theory integrates four universal principles: system integrity, universal balance, universal feedback, and interconnected nodes. Complex systems — including civilisations, ecosystems, governance structures, and artificial intelligence — can be represented as dynamic tensor networks, enabling analysis of stability, defect propagation, and emergent equilibrium. The paper provides mathematical formulations, tensor diagrams, simulation placeholders, and applications that demonstrate the predictive power and universality of the framework.
