Women's rights in international and national laws aim to ensure gender equality, protect women from discrimination and violence, and enhance their participation in all aspects of social, political and economic life, as well as to enhance the status of women and protect them from discrimination and violence.The impact of violent extremism on women's social, political, economic and legal rights in extremist societies in which women liveHere, national policies in Iraq to combat violent extremism and protect women's rights were studied within the Iraqi national framework to identify the most important aspects of this topic.With the spread of crimes committed against women in the country, it has become necessary to know women's rights in local and international legislation and laws, especially with the increase in the rates of violations against women. The adoption of laws on domestic violence in particular and violence against women in general has made it necessary to study the subject in detail in order to know the laws and rights guaranteed to women according to international and local legislation and the extent of their implementation and consistency with reality. In this context, this research comes to shed light on the laws that guarantee women's rights at the international and local levels and the extent of their consistency with national legislation and their compatibility with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
