The Belief of Belief examines belief not as content but as mechanism — the cognitive architecture through which all positions, religious and secular alike, are held and defended. Drawing on personal experience across Christian, atheist, and spiritual frameworks, the work argues that passive belief is installed before conscious reasoning exists, that the feeling of awakening is evidence of belief change rather than truth, and that conscious belief — examined, stress-tested, and held with open eyes — is the only intellectually honest position available to any human being.
