This study examines cultural adaptation and resilience among migrant communities in Senegal, focusing on Southern Africa's migrant populations. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining qualitative interviews with quantitative surveys among a representative sample of migrant communities to gather data on their cultural practices and resilience mechanisms. Migrant families in Senegal reported significant challenges such as language barriers (85%) and socioeconomic disparities (70%), which they coped with through strengthening familial bonds and community support networks. This study highlights the importance of fostering supportive social structures to enhance cultural adaptation and resilience among migrant communities in Senegal. Policies should prioritise community-based support systems and language training programmes to better assist migrant families in their integration process.
