Theoretical frameworks in African philosophy have explored various post-colonial contexts, including those in Djibouti, a nation with a rich history influenced by both French and Italian colonial legacies. A systematic review of literature will be conducted to analyse existing research on post-colonial African philosophy in Djibouti. This includes examining philosophical texts, academic papers, and critical analyses that have addressed the impact of colonialism and decolonization on local thought. This study underscores the importance of understanding diverse post-colonial philosophies to foster a more inclusive and nuanced discourse on decolonization and identity formation within African studies. Encouraging further interdisciplinary research that integrates perspectives from anthropology, sociology, and history will enhance our comprehension of the complexities involved in post-colonial African philosophy.
