In the framework of the EU-funded project named CHANGES – Cultural Heritage Active Innovationfor Sustainable Society, and, in particular, within Spoke 9, CREST – Cultural Resources forSustainable Tourism, the present work constitutes the Deliverable 6.b, Systems of integrated multiplatformtechnological solutions. The platform proposed and designed within this deliverable makes use of the results, of thesuggestions and of the value framework that emerge from the previous deliverable, aimed at thedefinition, among other things, of the needs and the competences that are necessary for asustainable management of cultural heritage. The platform that is the object of the research presents itself as an innovative and flexible tool forthe construction of networks and partnerships between operators, managers and localcommunities, encouraging active participation in the co-management and valorisation of culturalheritage. It allows us to overcome the traditional model of centralized management, promoting acollaborative and participatory approach that involves all local actors in the co-design of territorialexperiences and in the co-promotion, co-fundraising and commercialization of cultural resources. The platform offers a wide range of use options for its end users in planning their voyage. Besidesthe possibility to develop a customized and detailed user profile and the use of a dashboard thatfavors active participation of end users, the platform enables them to plan their customized UserJourney through an innovative interaction with a virtual Voyage Mate, an AI chatbot. The real strength of the platform lies in its ability to create an integrated community, whereawareness and active participation of the members are key elements in ensuring a shared andsustainable management of cultural heritage. Each participant is called upon to contribute not onlyto the conservation and promotion of the assets themselves, but also to the definition ofexperiences that can attract visitors and enhance the territory. This co-design process fosters agreater sense of belonging and responsibility towards cultural heritage, ensuring that initiatives arealigned with the needs and expectations of the local community. One of the central aspects of theplatform is the empowerment of local actors. Through digital tools and training courses, participants are put in a position that enables them to acquire the skills and knowledge needed foran autonomous and shared management of cultural heritage, and to gain decision-making powerwithin the process. This leads not only to a more equitable distribution of the economic and socialbenefits deriving from the enhancement of cultural heritage, but also to a strengthening of socialcohesion and greater resilience of local communities.Data transparency is another crucial feature of the platform. Through monitoring and informationsharing systems, all participants have access to data relating to management, to the progress ofpromotion and fundraising campaigns, as well as to the results of co-design initiatives. Thistransparent approach allows the timely identification of critical issues and the continuousimprovement of the strategies adopted, ensuring a more effective and inclusive governanceprocess. To meet these needs, the platform implements innovative functions based on the principles ofcooperative platforms. These digital tools support new participatory governance models, promoting close collaboration between all the actors involved and a fair distribution of economicbenefits. Cooperative platforms are based on values such as democracy, solidarity andparticipation, and their integration into the project allows the creation of an environment thatfavors experimentation with new models of local development and management of commongoods.
