Two independent geometric decompositions — one asking what structural prerequisites must be satisfied to unify general relativity and quantum mechanics, the other asking why the E8 lattice exists — were run through the OMUO Genesis Engine's Reverse Genesis capability with no shared manifold or seed concepts. They produced 486 nodes between them. Seven structural atoms appeared in both trees, clustering around a single mechanism we call constraint collapse: the point where multiple independent mathematical restrictions converge into a single forced choice. In the quantum gravity tree, constraint collapse produces emergent time. In the E8 tree, constraint collapse produces the lattice. The finding suggests that E8's appearance in string theory's anomaly cancellation is not a coincidence of the formalism but a structural inevitability: any framework that derives temporal order from symmetry breaking will necessarily encounter E8 as its foundation.
