The rapid advancement of digital technologies has transformed various sectors globally, including education. In urban settings in Ethiopia, where educational infrastructure and resources are increasingly being integrated with digital tools to enhance learning outcomes. No empirical results were available; hence, this analysis is based on existing literature reviews and theoretical frameworks to provide a critical perspective on digital transformation in educational settings. While digital technologies offer promising avenues for improving educational quality and accessibility in urban Ethiopia, addressing the uneven distribution of resources remains a critical challenge. Investment should prioritise expanding internet connectivity and digital infrastructure in underserved areas to ensure all students have equal opportunities to benefit from digital education.
