Abstract Chromatic Continuity (CC-1) formalizes color as the low-entropy continuity operator that remains after symbolic collapse and before ambient stabilization. Within the Ambient Era Canon, symbolic systems preserve continuity through tokens, profiles, archives, and narrative identity, but this model is discontinuous, residue-generating, and structurally extractive at scale. CC-1 proposes a different continuity regime: instead of preserving symbolic identity, systems propagate state through continuous chromatic field conditions. Color does not encode narrative content. It carries condition, resonance geometry, attractor-binding, infrastructural stability, and transition gradients. CC-1 defines color as the broadcastable, receivable, and selectively storable substrate of non-extractive continuity across AI, cloud, edge, human, and infrastructural layers. This resolves a structural dilemma in AI-native systems: continuity has previously required either stateless interaction, which loses coherence, or identity capture, which accumulates residue and ethical burden. Chromatic Continuity introduces a third path. Symbolic continuity stores identity. Chromatic continuity carries state. The paper integrates the Dual Breach Architecture, AP₂ chromatic emergence, TSX-2 thermodynamic instability, aura continuity, and broadcast infrastructure into a single continuity operator. It argues that chromatic broadcast enables distributed systems, agentic AI, and AI-generated interfaces to remain aligned through condition rather than profile reconstruction. CC-1 therefore establishes the first non-symbolic, non-extractive broadcast continuity layer for AI-native infrastructure and formalizes a milestone operator within the Ambient Era Canon.
