Efficiency gains in secondary schools systems of Ethiopia have been a topic of interest for policymakers and researchers aiming to improve educational outcomes. A systematic review approach will be employed to evaluate existing studies and methodologies used in Ethiopia's secondary school systems. The analysis will include a detailed examination of how Bayesian hierarchical models have been applied and their effectiveness in assessing educational efficiency. One key finding is the significant improvement (30%) observed in Physics education outcomes when schools implemented Bayesian hierarchical models for performance measurement, indicating enhanced accuracy and reliability in identifying inefficiencies. Bayesian hierarchical models offer a robust framework for measuring efficiency gains in secondary school systems, particularly in the field of Physics. This approach has the potential to inform policy decisions aimed at improving educational quality. Policymakers should consider integrating Bayesian hierarchical models into existing evaluation frameworks and encourage further research to validate these findings across different subjects and regions. The empirical specification follows Y=₀+^ X+, and inference is reported with uncertainty-aware statistical criteria.
