The prognostic nutritional index (PNI), derived from serum albumin and lymphocyte count, reflects systemic nutritional and immune status and has been associated with cancer outcomes. We evaluated the association between pretreatment PNI and clinical outcomes in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) receiving first-line immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs), with or without chemotherapy, accounting for age, ECOG performance status (PS), PD-L1 status, body mass index, and comorbidities.
