Creation myths in Comoros reflect diverse cultural narratives across Africa, highlighting unique cosmogonic beliefs. A qualitative comparative study using oral history data, supplemented with historical texts for contextualization. Interviews were conducted in local languages. The analysis reveals a recurring theme of the primordial sea separating land from sky, influenced by shared religious practices across islands. While commonalities exist, each island's mythological narrative reflects distinct cultural and historical contexts. Further research should focus on integrating oral traditions with archaeological evidence to enrich understanding.
