The novel bioactive compound 5-amino-3-(1H-benzo[dimidazol-1-yl)methyl]-1,3,4-thiadiazole-2(3H)-thione was synthesized using 5-amino-1,3,4-thiadiazole-2-thiol and benzimidazole as key precursors. The product was comprehensively characterized by IR and NMR (1H and 13C) spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. Antibacterial screening against Staphylococcus aureus (Gram-positive) and Escherichia coli (Gram-negative) bacteria, as well as the anti-inflammatory assay revealed promising activities of the synthesized benzimidazole–1,3,4-thiadiazole hybrid product, underscoring its potential therapeutic applications.
