Youth unemployment in Nairobi, Kenya is a significant socioeconomic challenge, affecting sustainable development goals. A comparative analysis using qualitative data from interviews with programme participants and stakeholders, supplemented by secondary data on programme outcomes. Programmes demonstrated a 40% increase in job creation among participants compared to baseline levels, particularly in eco-friendly initiatives. Youth entrepreneurship programmes play a pivotal role in enhancing both economic opportunities and environmental stewardship in Nairobi's urban environment. Policy makers should prioritise funding for youth-focused entrepreneurial projects that integrate sustainability practices.
