Community health centers (CHCs) play a crucial role in healthcare delivery in Senegal, with varying levels of adoption across different regions. A multilevel logistic regression model was employed to analyse data from the National Health System Survey. The model accounts for both community-level (n=14) and regional-level (20 regions) variations in CHC adoption rates. The analysis revealed that economic development index had a significant positive association with CHC adoption, indicating higher rates of adoption in more economically developed areas. This study provides insights into the factors affecting CHC implementation and highlights the importance of regional disparities in health policy planning. Future studies should consider implementing similar multilevel models to assess other healthcare interventions. Policymakers are advised to focus on economic development strategies as a means to enhance CHC adoption rates.
