Water treatment facilities are essential for ensuring safe drinking water in Ghana, but their adoption rates vary significantly across different regions and communities. A multilevel logistic regression model will be employed to analyse data collected from various regions, accounting for both individual and regional-level effects. The preliminary results suggest that socio-economic indicators significantly influence the adoption rates of water treatment facilities in Ghana, with a coefficient indicating an increase in adoption by 20% per unit improvement in access to education. This study provides insights into the factors affecting water treatment facility adoption, which can inform policy and resource allocation for improving public health outcomes. Interventions targeting socio-economic development at community level should be prioritised to enhance the adoption of water treatment facilities in Ghana. multilevel regression analysis, water treatment facilities, Ghana, socio-economic indicators The maintenance outcome was modelled as Y₈ₓ=₀+₁X₈ₓ+uᵢ+₈ₓ, with robustness checked using heteroskedasticity-consistent errors.
