Part IV of the ERQ series extends the Emergent Spacetime Quantum Field Theory to the dynamics of symmetry breaking. The paper argues that broken symmetry sectors need not be understood exclusively as vacuum choices within a preexisting spacetime, but may instead be interpreted as emergent phase selections within the projection from a fundamental quantum field into an effective manifold. It introduces the concepts of transient projections, an ERQ level order parameter for emergent phase selection, metastable projection sectors, effective mass generation, domain formation, and nonequilibrium ordering. The paper places these ideas in conceptual relation to established symmetry breaking frameworks while preserving the distinct ontological basis of ERQ theory.
